I am not dead. I'm still drawing.

But I'm not sure that my tribal Knotwork is going to stay up here on DA.

Here's why: People keep adding the one knot in the group that I've said I will not ever give permission to use as a tattoo to tattoo wishlist collections.
This wouldn't be a problem, except for the fact that I've yet to meet a tattoo artist that thinks they need permission to steal art and ink it on somebody. The local guys basically told me that if someone brought in a knot I did with my watermark on it that they would tattoo it, even if it said that they didn't have permission to use it as a tattoo in the watermark. Actually, they couldn't seem to see why I would have a problem with this. (I'm not going to get any tats at that particular shop, just FYI.)

So I'm figuring that I'm going to see my personal knot on somebody's arm one of these days if I continue to leave it up here on DA.

And honestly, it's mine, dammit. I plan on getting it on MY skin.

As for the rest of the knots, well, I'd like to sell tattoo flash one of these days.
And I figure that'll be hard to do if someone has ripped my knots all over the web.

I do know that I won't be posting any more of my blackwork knots here on DA.
Sorry guys, but any knots I post will be posted in a form like the dragon I recently posted, with a digital treatment to make them harder to rip off.

I'll still be posting my abstracts here though. I don't really care if they get spread all over the web, and I doubt I'll ever see a DreamStar on anyone's skin but mine.
